Aluminum coil is a metal product that is subjected to flying shear after being rolled by a casting-rolling mill and processed by bending corners. Aluminum coils are widely used in electronics, packaging, construction, machinery, etc.
After the aluminum coil is washed, chrome-plated, rolled, baked and other processes, the surface of the aluminum coil is painted with various colors of paint, which is called color-coated aluminum coil. It has the advantages of light texture, bright color, easy processing and forming, no rust, strong adhesion, durability, acid resistance, alkali resistance, corrosion resistance, weather resistance, corrosion resistance, friction resistance, ultraviolet resistance, etc. It is widely used in insulation panels, aluminum curtain walls, aluminum-magnesium-manganese roofing systems, aluminum ceilings and many other fields.
There are many types of aluminum coils.
(1)1000 series
The 1000 series aluminum plate is also called pure aluminum plate. Among all the series, the 1000 series belongs to a series with more aluminum content. The purity can reach more than 99.00%. Because it does not contain other technical elements, the production process is relatively simple and the price is relatively cheap. It is a series commonly used in conventional industries. Most of the products circulating in the market are 1050 and 1060 series.
(2)2000 series aluminum plate
The 2000 series are mainly based on 2A16 (LY16) 2A06 (LY6). The 2000 series aluminum plate is characterized by higher hardness, and the copper content is high, about 3-5%. 2000 series aluminum plates are aviation aluminum materials, which are not often used in conventional industries.
(3)3000 series aluminum plate
3000 series is mainly based on 3003 3003 3A21. It can also be called anti-rust aluminum plate. The 3000 series aluminum plate is made of manganese as the main component. The content is between 1.0-1.5. It is a series with better anti-rust function. It is commonly used in humid environments such as air conditioners, refrigerators, and undercars. The price is higher than the 1000 series. It is a more commonly used alloy series.
(4)4000 series
The representative is 4A01, 4000 series aluminum plates belong to the series with higher silicon content. Usually the silicon content is between 4.5-6.0%. It belongs to construction materials, mechanical parts, forging materials, and welding materials; its advantages are low melting point, corrosion resistance, heat resistance, and wear resistance.
(5)5000 series
The 5000 series is mainly based on 5052.5005.5083.5A05. The 5000 series aluminum plate belongs to the more commonly used alloy aluminum plate series, the main element is magnesium, and the magnesium content is between 3-5%. It can also be called aluminum-magnesium alloy. The main features are low density, high tensile strength and high elongation.
(6)6000 series
As represented by 6061, it mainly contains two elements: magnesium and silicon. Because of the advantages of the 4000 series and 5000 series, 6061 is a cold-treated aluminum forging product suitable for applications with high requirements for corrosion resistance and oxidation. Typical uses of 6061 aluminum: aircraft parts, camera parts, couplers, ship parts and hardware, electronic parts and joints, decorative or hardware, hinge heads, magnetic heads, brake pistons, hydraulic pistons, electrical accessories, valves and valve parts.
(7)7000 series
On behalf of 7075, it mainly contains zinc. It also belongs to the aviation series. It is an aluminum-magnesium-zinc-copper alloy, a heat-treatable alloy, and a super hard aluminum alloy with good wear resistance. 7075 aluminum plate is stressed and will not deform or warp after processing. All super large and super thick All 7075 aluminum plates are ultrasonically detected, which can ensure no blisters and impurities. The high thermal conductivity of 7075 aluminum plates can shorten the forming time and improve work efficiency.
